New House!

It has been a while since I have actually written anything on this blog. Life has been very busy. Emily is 13 months old, the next Baby Winslow is due in 5 weeks, and we are moving in 2 1/2 weeks.

Emily is our little joy and is growing up far too fast. She is very vocal, loves to read (she will sit with her books and read out loud for long periods of time), is showing her mommy's love of babies and nurturing habits by carrying her doll around everywhere, and loves people. She started walking at her birthday party (just over a month ago) and since then her personality has blossomed. We have been trying to teach her sign language and she now uses several different signs to communicate with us what she wants, along with many vocal commands that we are still trying to learn.

She loves her aunts very much and in fact when we go to see them, there are times when she will not come back to Mandy and I.

We have thought of adding "Joy" to her name because she is constantly a source of joy in our lives and the lives of others. Whenever we go for a walk, to the store, church, or wherever she will wave at people and say "Hi!"

Our digital camera is missing, so as soon as I can locate it I will post updated pics of Emily for everyone. Meanwhile here are some pictures (the quality is so-so, and they don't convey the charm of the house very well, so you will have to come over to our house and visit us to really
get a feel for it ;) You can see more pictures of it at: http://tinyurl.com/k8h49

Mandy is doing well, and is a real trooper about the pregnancy. She is busy picking the new colors for our house and planning on how to bring out the 20's charm of the place.
